She lives in Colorado with her husband, Rob, where they are raising two of their grandkids, caring for her elderly mother, and surviving what can only be described as a small, fur-covered zoo made up of three chaotic dogs and two very judgmental cats.
Kay is not your average grandma. She writes dark romance and romantasy full of obsession, danger, and morally gray chaos, all while working in healthcare patient registration by day. By night, she escapes into forbidden magic, broken heroes, and stories that bite back.
